PRIVATE TOUR COSTS
Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Master Card, * American Express, Cashier's Checks, Traveler's Checks, Personal or Business checks (only if they have time to clear the bank before the tour), and we even go "beyond the pale" and accept U.S. currency.
* As mentioned we will accept American Express credit cards for the convenience of our guests, however any associated fees will be added to the cost of the tour, and at times those have been considerable. AMEX likes to offer "special incentives" for using their cards, but they pass those costs on to the vendors, rather than absorbing the costs themselves.
A credit card or cash is necessary to insure a confirmed reservation. A check may be used, but as stated, it must clear the bank prior to issuing a confirmed reservation. Tour availability is offered on a first come, first serve basis, so the sooner you can confirm a date the better your chances of finding availability on the date(s) you select.
All our private tours include only the person booking the tour, and the guests he or she requests to be included. There is a four person minimum fee required to book a tour, even it is for one or two guests.
When booking a private tour of Yellowstone there is a minimum fee of $600 for up to an including 4 guests, plus an additonal $75 per person fee for each guest over the four person minimum. For Grand Teton National Park there is a minimum fee of $450 for up to and including four guests, plus an additional $50 per person fee for each guest over the four person minimum.
On our tours the park entry fee is the guest's responsibility. The pass you will receive will be good for a period of seven days from the date of issuance, in both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. This is in the event that you might wish to return to either park on another tour or even on your own. If you are in possession of one of the many different annual Park passes they will satisfy the park's entry fee requirement (Golden Age, Golden Access, Gold Eagle, National Park Pass, or Area Specific Pass). Meals are the guest's responsibility. On tours of four guests or more, or on any multiple day tours, there will be a 15% guide's gratuity added to the cost of the tour unless otherwise arranged.
Guests will be picked up from, and returned to, their lodging facilities for all tours, unless other arrangements have been made. There is no additional charge for this service if lodging is in the Jackson Hole Valley region. All our tours, with very few exceptions, will be done in Chevrolet Suburbans, or GMC Yukon XLs. If we are required to lease a larger vehicle for a tour it will be the guest's responsibility. If a cancellation becomes necessary the guests will be responsible for any cancellation charges required by the leasing company. We do not charge anything more than the actual leasing fee for this service. We make no profit on the leasing agreement.
If we are required to lease a larger vehicle than those we currently offer in our standard fleet, then the cost of the leased vehicle(s) will have to be added to the tour cost.

Tour Listing
1. Private Grand Teton National Park Tour -(single day) - There is a $450 minimum fee required for four guests or fewer to allow us to offer this tour. This is not a per person charge. Additional guests in the same vehicle will be at the rate of $50/person.

3. Private Grand Teton/Yellowstone Combo Tour (two day) - There is a $1000 mimimum fee required for four guests or fewer to allow us to offer this two day tour. This is not a per person charge. After the first fours guests have been booked the price will be reduced to $100 per person (this covers both days) for any additional guests in the same tour vehicle. One day will be spent touring GTNP, and the other day will be spent touring the lower loop of YNP.
If lodging is required it will be the guest's responsibility. Generally speaking we return to Jackson each night, and it is only on rare occasions that we would require lodging outside Jackson Hole. Guests will be responsible for their guide's expenses (lodging and meals outside of Jackson). A 15% guide's gratuity will be added to the cost of each combo tour.
4. Private Yellowstone National Park (multi-day) Tour - These tours are $600 per day for four guests or fewer, with a two day minimum of $1200 necessary to allow us to book this multiple day tour. This is not a per person charge. After the first four guests the price for any additional guests will be $75 per person per day in the same vehicle. Guests are responsible for their own lodging and meals, plus their guide's expenses (meals and lodging). In park lodging for the guide must be booked by the guest due to the lack of availability, and the great length of time needed for advanced reservations. Sometime in park lodging needs to be booked a year or more in advance. . Inside Yellowstone the Park Concessionaire "comps" the meals for the guides, so there would obviously be no charge for those meals. A 15% guide's gratuity will also be added to the cost of each multiple day tour unless other arrangements are made.
This tour can be extended, with prior notice. However, extending the tour would be contingent upon the availability of lodging and guides.
5. Year Around Private Jackson Hole Wildlife/Scenic/Valley Tours These tours are $90 per hour for up to four guests in the same tour vehicle. There is a two hour mimimum fee required to allow us to offer this tour, plus $50 per person for each additional guest up to six, or possibly seven with smaller women or children. That is not $50 per hour, but $50 additional per person for the entire tour.

Any requests for information should be sent to us at your earliest possible convenience. This can be done via email, fax, or by phone. Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy for advanced reservations on private tours requires a two week notification of cancellation to be free of all charges, except any non-refundable expenses incurred. Those would include, but are not limited to, such things as vehicle rentals, or any "Out of Pocket" expenses incurred by our company as a result of the booking. These fees will still remain the responsibility of the party booking the tour if they are not refundable, and will have to be billed to the credit card used to hold the reservation. There will be no other charge(s) for a cancellation made more than two weeks prior to a scheduled tour. Any cancellation made less than two weeks, but more than one week prior to a scheduled tour will be charged 50% of the normal tour cost. Any cancellations made one week or less prior to the scheduled tour, or any "no shows", will result in a charge of 100% of the tour cost. A credit card must be used to confirm a reservation, and any cancellation fees will be billed to that card.
It is our sincere hope that we never have to assess any of the above fees for cancellations. It is however very unfair to those wishing to book a tour if someone books a tour, thereby denying another person the opportunity, and then subsequently fails to give adequate notification of cancellation. Please, when in doubt, contact our office. We will do our utmost to work the situation out in a satisfactory manner for all concerned. We realize unforeseen circumstances arise on occasion, and we will obviously do our best to reasonably deal with those circumstances in a fair and equitable manner.
