Special Summer Transportation Option to Yellowstone For Visitors

We are aware of the fact that many people come to Jackson Hole due to it's proximity to Yellowstone. People don't realize that there is no bus, or shuttle service currently being offered to Yellowstone. We therefore have decide to offer transportion from the Jackson Hole Region to Yellowstone for those visitors needing transportation to designated areas in the Park. We offer this service for up to six guests in any one vehicle, luggage permitting. The fee per vehicle would be $250 for guests gong to the lower loop in Yellowstone, which would include Old Faithful, Lake Village, Fishing Bridge, and Canyon Village; or $350 for the upper loop of Yellowstone, including Mammoth Hotsprings, Roosevelt Lodge, or Tower Falls camp ground. These trips will not be conducted as tours, but will simply be a transportation option for visitors. Transportation can also be provided to satellite communities around Yellowstone, such as Cooke City, Mt., West Yellowstone, Mt., Gardiner, Mt., or Cody, Wy. There would be a slightly higher fee for these destinations.

For anyone wishing to book a return trip to the airport it can be booked directly by the guests, or by their resort's concierge staff.  

On all airport arrivals at the main terminal we will have a driver waiting for the guest(s) in the airport with a placard bearing the guest's name. The driver will be standing in the designated area just inside the baggage claim entrance door waiting for the guest to make contact with him or her. Once contact has been made the driver will pull his vehicle up in front of the terminal's baggage claim area.

For pickups or drop-offs at the FBO (Fixed Base Operator - the Private Sector of the AP) the driver can proceed with his vehicle onto the tarmac to meet the guests at their aircraft. We are one of only a very few companies allowed to offer this service. The driver simply needs the arrival time, the name of the guest(s), and the tail number of the aircraft.

                           Executive Airport Transportation 

All airport transportation is at the rate of $90/hr.

 
Airport Dropoffs will not be subject to the one hour minimum fee requirement.


All Airport Pickups will be subject to wait time after ten minutes to compensate the driver for his "down time" while waiting for guests to securetheir luggage. 

All airport pickups and drop-offs must be reserved with a credit card (Master Card, or Visa only), unless they are done as a room charge at your lodging facility. A room charge for any departures must be authorized by the resort (Four Seasons Resorts), and notification given to the driver before he or she leaves the resort. 

                      Executive Service Transportation

The Executive Service segment of YGT Tours and Transportation offers an upgraded form of resort, and valley transportation at an affordable price. Our fleet consists of Chevrolet Suburbans, and Yukon XLs, and we want to emphasize the fact that all our vehicles are smoke  free . These vehicles are all full sized seven passenger four wheel drive SUVs, with considerable luggage capacity. The rear seat folds down to provide additional luggage storage if required. We can accommodate six guests, or seven with small children or smaller adults, luggage permitting. 

We provide transportation to and from specific destinations for individuals, or groups. This could be transportation to and from Dinner Reservations, Float Trips, Fishing, Shopping, hiking, or whatever specific transportation needs you might have.

When making an Executive Service reservation the only  guests that will be accepted  on your trip will be those you request. There will be absolutely no add-ons without your requesting them.

                     Executive Service Transportation

In addition to the standard Executive Service transportation we can incorporate a mini-tour to show our guests some of the local wildlife, and scenic vistas, as well as providing a brief history of the  Jackson Hole region for those interested. This has become a very popular option for many of our guests who, for one reason or another, did not have the time or opportunity to do a Park or Valley tour during their stay.

For any trip lasting more than an hour round trip it would be at the rate of $90 per hour portal to portal. For example, if we have to travel to or from the airport in Idaho Falls, Idaho to pick up or drop off guests, then the guests will be charged full fare ($90/hr) for the segment carrying the passengers, and half fare for the portion if no passengers are accompanying the driver.  The fare starts either when the passenger(s) are picked up here in the Jackson Hole Valley, or when the driver leaves Jackson to pick the guests up outside the Valley. The time ends when the driver is back in Jackson.

If required our services can be scheduled on a half-day, full-day, or  on an hourly basis as mentioned above.  Wait time fees, or fees for additional stops, are built into the Executive Service rates, therefore they are not a factor with Executive Service trips. The cost is "Portal to Portal", with a driver at your disposal at all times. The rates for this service would be $400 for a half day (four hours), $700 for a full day (eight hours), or on an hourly basis of $90/hr. Any overages on the half day or full day bookings would be at the $90/hr, or ($1.75/min).

               Airport Executive Service Cancellation Policy 


For Pickups going TO the Jackson Hole Airport:


For reservations going to the Jackson Hole Airport we have a cancellation policy which charges the full fare amount for transportation reservations, if not cancelled at least 24 hours    prior to the scheduled pickup time (this is especially important in the winter due to inclement weather). We will waive this  policy if the the flight is cancelled by the airline, and the driver is notified before leaving Jackson for the  scheduled pickup. If notification of the cancellation is made after the driver leaves town for the pickup, but before leaving the pickup location for the airport, only a $35  fee (from Teton Village) or $15 fee (from the town of Jackson) will be charged for cancellation or re-booking. Any other cancellations that are made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup will be charged the full fare amount.


For pickups coming FROM the Jackson Hole Airport:


If an advanced reservation for an Airport Pickup is cancelled  less than 24 hours prior to the pickup time, the full fare will be charged to the credit card used to hold the reservation (Again this is most relevant during winter months).  If the reservation was made no more than twenty four hours in advance then a minimum of 12 hours is required to prevent a cancellation fee. We will waive this policy if an arriving flight is cancelled by the airline unbeknownst to the guest, and the guest notifies us as soon as he/she is made aware of the cancellation.

                                                                                             We hope to never have to assess any of these cancellation policies, however it is unfair to the driver who waits for a guest, thereby passing up trips he could have benefited from, only to discover that the guest failed to make adequate notice of cancellation. We will of course occasionally waive this policy if there is a verified medical or family emergency.
